HOW TO LOCK EUROPE. EASTERN BORDER

How to Lock Europe is'nt a work about migration. It's a work that tries to show wich are the structures, procedures and ways that European Union uses to stop the migrant and refugee people who want to enter in Shengen Area.

We are used to see the consequences of border control systems: the pain, deads on the sea, rivers or under the trucks; desperation, months of waiting in a camp near a fence or people climbed the fence waiting for be forced to get dawn. So, when we think in migration we think in camps and ships sinking as a icons of the migration phenomenon in 21th Century.

Althought, could be that these icons are not the whole story of that but just the human consequences of it. How to lock Europe wants to turn the camera and frame the causes of horror and genererate to the spectator new visual referents and informatives about the matter.
