The Foreigners Detention Center in Barcelona is a prison for migrant people.

Settled far from the city in a remote industrial aera,it shelters houndreds of people who are jailed inside for 60 days maximum, with no other crime that be in Spain with no migration documents rugularized.

NGO's and social movements claim usually against this kind of places and this one specially. Five person dead inside, most of them by having no propper medical assistance. Lack of 24/7 medical assistance, poor live conditions, physical and isolation punishments are some of the claimings, much more the fact that the reason to be prisoned in there is just a light offense for the spanish law, as driving over speed limit.

This is the story of Brakadze Family and their relationship with the Center. David, housband and father of two, were detteined after police asked for their migration papers meanwhile his familiy were shopping in a supermarket.

He was moved to the detention center and his deportation was shedduled. He and his familiy and lawyers tried to stopped it by all the ways. After 12 years living in Spain, with 2 kids borned in the country, he has depported to Georgia with no familiy, no money and no job. He wont be legaly able to come back to join his familiy in Spain for 10 years.
